Starting a Series on Thinking 12:2 Style

Romans 12:2 tells that we are not to be “conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing (not the removal of our minds. . .”)  That is also reinforced to us by Jesus in Matthew 22:37, where He tells us to “love the Lord your God with all our hearts, all our souls and all our minds.”  I am under the conviction that if we are not doing that, and refusing to do that, we are NOT worshiping God the way He desires us to worship.

For those of you who have been to my blogger page, and then migrated postings over to Word Press, I had mentioned that I would be resurrecting posts from the other blog to here, as a way of re-introducing and resurrecting some of the engagement of your reading. This post I would like to announce that I am going to bring back the First Principles in our next series of posts.

Some of our friends on Facebook have been waiting for this since my interactions with those who want to debate the role of logic in our worship. Before brining in the first post, allow me to share with you a great You Tube Channel called Ratio Christi Television. It is here you can catch more of these shows bringing in topics important to giving reasons for our Christian faith.

This past Monday, I was a guest with Tony Gurule addressing the matter of “engaging a culture that thinks with its feelings.”  I would like to invite you to check out that episode, and let us know what you think and what questions it might bring up.

Also if you would like to check out one that we did on the existence of God last year, you can find the link right here.

Please let me know how we can serve you or your church or if you have any questions you would like us to address on this blog.

Rob is a blogger, writer, pastor/teacher, and public speaker on a mission to equip the believer to think and articulate what they believe and to communicate it to a confused culture in a “brave new world.”
