It’s Been a While…

by Rob Lundberg

Looking back at my last post, I cannot believe that it was last October since my last one. That was when we did the interview with Midwest Christian Outreach. Since that time, with all that has been going on with work-, and course development wise, I have been doing a lot of thinking on the direction of this website and blog.

One thing I am finding out is that many people do not like the word “apologetics.” They get skittish and come with up with all sorts of reasons to stay away from making a case for why they believe and using those reasons to share get someone to hear the gospel. So if you look through the posts, you most likely not see any explanations of “apologetics.” I think I have removed all the articles but if you would like to know more about apologetics, leave a comment or email me and I can forward you some archived articles.

A new direction? Sort of

I think we can agree that a lot has changed in our culture after COVID, and 2019. Because of these changes many of us, including myself have had to re-evaluate what direction the Lord is leading. That does not mean that I have stopped “doing” apologetics. It also does not mean that I have stopped living an apologetic life.

What I mean is this. I am planning henceforth, on sharing things that I believe will help you as a Christian in understanding what we see going in the country, the church, and on a broader scale what is going in the world. (Do not be surprised if you read some devotional material that I come up with and have come up with.)

It is time to live out the apologetic life, as a veteran, a contractor, a patriot, and as a husband and father, but most importantly, as a blood bought follower of Christ. Call it if you will, we move out from here living out a tactical thinking faith. Call it tactical Christian living.

So let’s get ready for a wild ride of changes in material, as we navigate through this twisted fallen world that appears to be demanding drive us in the wrong direction. The question I hope to answer in each post will be, how then should we live? I think you will like what you find, and I pray you will find it helpful.
